The meeting was called to order by Mayor Chris Heiser at 7:00 p.m. as per the Municipal Code of the City of Rushville, Sheridan County, NE. Notice of the meeting was given by publication in the Sheridan County Journal Star on January 22, 2013 as required by law and delivered to the Council in person. Present: Snyder,Willnerd, Lovell. Absent none.
The following motions were duly made, seconded and passed.
1. To approve, accept and ratify the following items listed under the consent agenda: Council minutes of the December meeting and the December Treasurers Report.
2. Approved appointment of Matt Jansen to the North Ward of the City Council whose term will end December 31, 2014.
3. Approved Law Enforcement Contract with Sheridan County Sheriff Terry Robbins.
4 Approved Resolution #14-01 a Resolution to adopt a long-range one and six year plan of highway, road and street improvements based upon priority of needs and calculated to contribute to the orderly development of integrated statewide system of highways, roads and streets.
5. Approved all of the following bills for the City of Rushville and that warrants be drawn for same:

Larry Waldron was present to request buying Lot 22 Block 2 O.T. Rushville. He will maintain a privacy fence in front of the lot. After some discussion, the matter was tabled at this time.
Jean Parker called and requested she be put on the February agenda as she was not able to attend the January meeting due to illness. She will be put on the agenda for February.
Mayor Heiser reported that he called John Braca and made him an offer to purchase some of his land for the RV Sewer Dump Station. The matter was tabled at this time as the City has had no response from Mr. Braca. The City Clerk will keep trying to contact him in regard to this matter.
The City Boards will meet as follows: Golf Board February 03, 2014; Ambulance Board February 11, 2014.
