The Sheridan County Board of Equalization met in regular session at 9:55 A.M. in the Commissioner’s Office, Courthouse. All members present. Kling stated that the meeting would be conducted in accordance with the provisions of the Nebraska Open Meeting Act a copy of which is posted on the North wall of the chamber and brochures available on the guest desk. Andersen made a motion to accept the agenda. Krotz seconded the motion. All voted aye. Krotz made a motion to approve the minutes of 3-24-2014. Andersen seconded the motion. With a roll call vote all voted aye.
Kling stated that the board will open the hearing to discuss the exemption request for sales tax, from Lakota Hope for a 1997 Ford F150. Bruce BonFleur was present for the hearing and stated that the truck is used solely for work purposes by the Lakota Hope Ministries.
The board closed the hearing at 9:59 A.M. Andersen made a motion to approve the exemption request for Lakota Hope. Krotz seconded the motion. With a roll call vote all voted aye.
