The Sheridan County Board of Equalization met in regular session at 10 A.M. in the Commissioner’s Office, Courthouse. Kling and Krotz present. Andersen was excused to attend a Tax Equalization and Review Commission hearing in North Platte. Kling stated that the meeting would be conducted in accordance with the provisions of the Nebraska Open Meeting Act a copy of which is posted on the guest desk. Krotz made a motion to accept the agenda. Kling seconded the motion. All voted aye. Krotz made a motion to approve the minutes of 6-9-2014. Kling seconded the motion. With a roll call vote all voted aye.
Deputy Assessor Amanda Salisbury presented the board with an omitted property. Krotz made a motion to add a mobile home belonging to Jason and Kristen Scott to the tax list. Kling seconded the motion. With a roll call vote all voted aye.
Krotz made a motion to accelerate the tax on a mobile home owned by Terry Hinn that is going to be moved to South Dakota. Kling seconded the motion. With a roll call vote all voted aye.
The board agreed to set June 30, July 7, 14, 15 & 16 as the dates for Valuation Protest Hearings.
