The meeting was called to order by Mayor Chris Heiser at 6:00 p.m. as per the Municipal Code of the City of Rushville, Sheridan County, NE. Notice of the meeting was given by publication in the Sheridan County Journal Star on June 25, 2014 as required by law and delivered to the Council in person. Present: Snyder, Lovell, Jansen Absent: Willnerd.

The Miller property was discussed. The City Attorney informed the Council that he has been in contact with Brian Miller about this property. Mr. Miller asked if Swann burned down buildings. The City will contact the Board of Health to inspect this property to condemn it before it can be destroyed. The City will give Mr. Miller until the first week of August to have something done with this property. No other action was taken at this time.
The RV Sewer Dump was discussed. There is a sewer dump on the Property owned by Jerry Faulk. He has informed the City that he would be willing to make some kind of a deal for the City to use the dump station. Kirk Beguin will check the sewer dump to see if this would be possible for the City to use. No other action was taken at this time.
Nicole Sherburne was not present at the City Council meeting, but wanted the Council to know that she is looking into grants for repairs for the swimming pool.
The City Boards will meet as follows: Golf Board June 03, 2014; Ambulance Board June 09, 2014; Park Board June 23, 2014; Cemetery Board June 24, 2014.
