The Sheridan County Board of Commissioners met in regular session at 9:30 A.M. in the Commissioners Office, Courthouse. All members present. Kling stated that the meeting would be conducted in accordance with the provisions of the Nebraska Open Meeting Act a copy of which is available on the guest desk. Krotz made a motion to accept the agenda. Andersen seconded the motion. All voted aye. Andersen made a motion to approve the minutes of 9-29-2014. Krotz seconded the motion. With a roll call vote all voted aye.
The board audited and approved claims.
Patty Faulk met with the board and Tom Kuester to discuss the possibility of rebuilding approximately 4400 feet of road that serves only one residence. The board agreed to work with Faulk on a cost share agreement.
Chuck Lemp met with the board to discuss ballast from the railroad. Commissioner Kling reported that he had received a call from Nebraska Game and Parks concerning the ballast from the railroad right of way between Rushville and Hay Springs. Game and Parks is wanting to know if the County is interested in purchasing the material if bids are let. The board agreed that they would be interested in the material if acceptable terms were met.
