The Sheridan County Board of Equalization met in regular session at 9 A.M. in the Commissioners Office, Courthouse. All members present. Kling stated that the meeting would be conducted in accordance with the provisions of the Nebraska Open Meeting Act a copy of which is available on the guest desk. Andersen made a motion to accept the agenda. Krotz seconded the motion. All voted aye. Andersen made a motion to approve the minutes of 10-14-2014. Krotz seconded the motion. With a roll call vote all voted aye.
Michael Lane met with the board to inform them that his residential property file was missing from the Assessor’s Office. The board invited Assessor Winter to join the meeting. Winter stated that she had no knowledge of the missing file. The board asked if she could take Lane to her office and search for the file. Later in the morning the file was found.
Krotz made a motion at 9:30 A.M. to go into executive session to discuss a matter of potential litigation with County Attorney Dennis King via telephone. Andersen seconded the motion. With a roll call vote all voted aye.
At 10:04 A.M. Andersen made a motion to come out of executive session with no decision made. Krotz seconded the motion. With a roll call vote all voted aye.
