The Sheridan County Board of Commissioners met in regular session at 9 A.M. in the Commissioners Office, Courthouse. Kling and Andersen present, Krotz was excused. Kling stated that the meeting would be conducted in accordance with the provisions of the Nebraska Open Meeting Act a copy of which is available on the guest desk. Andersen made a motion to accept the agenda. Kling seconded the motion. All voted aye. Andersen made a motion to accept the minutes of 1-26-2015 with corrections. Kling seconded the motion. With a roll call vote all voted aye.
The board audited and approved claims.
Amy Faulk, Bruce Salisbury and Cindy Kearns were all present to discuss the cleaning of the Courthouse and other county buildings. Discussion was had and the board will refer the information on to Dwaine Sones, Building and Grounds Superintendent for review.
Road Superintendent, Kuester presented the board with a request for an approach. Andersen made a motion to approve an approach for Gary Fuscher onto 273rd Trail. Kling seconded the motion. With a roll call vote all voted aye.
Andersen made a motion to re-appoint Jerry Meyring and Bruce Gordon to the Black-Tailed Prairie Dog Advisory Council pending their acceptance of the appointment. Kling seconded the motion. With a roll call vote all voted aye.
The board discussed several bills pending in the Nebraska Legislature.
