Mayor Heiser informed the Council that Burbach Aquatics has looked at the swimming pool. A new open face pool would cost around three million dollars. To redo the exiting pool would cost about one half the price of a new pool, and would only have a life span of about 25 years. First thing they would have to do is evaluate the building, and this would cost around $3,000.00. They estimated that an indoor pool would cost around $250,000.00 to run year round. Councilwoman Lovell moved and Councilman Snyder seconded to move into executive session for discussion of personnel issues at 6:28 p.m. Councilman Willnerd moved and Councilwoman Lovell seconded to move out of executive session at 6:45 p.m. No action was taken.
