The Sheridan County Board of Commissioners met in regular session at 8 A.M. in the Commissioners Office, Courthouse. All members present. Kling stated that the meeting would be conducted in accordance with the provisions of the Nebraska Open Meeting Act a copy of which is available on the guest desk. Andersen made a motion to accept the agenda. Krotz seconded the motion. All voted aye. Andersen made a motion to approve the minutes of 6-29-2015. Krotz seconded the motion. With a roll call vote all voted aye.
The board audited and approved claims.
The board interviewed Barb Retzlaff, Ella Heath and Lyn Wilder for the janitorial position. No decision made at this time.
The board reviewed and signed the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services Subgrant Agreement for Child Support Enforcement Services. The agreement will be submitted to Sheridan County Attorney, Jamian Simmons to send back to the State department.
Road Superintendent, Kuester met with the board to open and review three bids for the installation of three new overhead doors at the Hay Springs shop. Bids were received from M B KEM Enterprises from Scottsbluff for $9,974.18; Black Hills Doors for $12,782, and Pro Overhead for $16,766. Andersen made a motion to accept the bid from M B KEM Enterprises for $9,974.18. Krotz seconded the motion. With a roll call vote all voted aye.
