The Sheridan County Board of Commissioners met in regular session at 9 A.M. in the Commissioners Office, Courthouse. All members present. Kling stated that the meeting would be conducted in accordance with the provisions of the Nebraska Open Meeting Act a copy of which is available on the guest desk. Andersen made a motion to accept the agenda. Krotz seconded the motion. All voted aye. Andersen made a motion to approve the minutes of 2-8-2016 that have already been published. Krotz seconded the motion. With a roll call vote all voted aye.
Assessor Amanda Lane presented the board with four correction sheets for approval. Andersen made a motion to approve two corrections for Richard and Donna McKay for parcels that were combined in 2014 and need to be separated. Krotz seconded the motion. With a roll call vote all voted aye.
Andersen made a motion to approve corrections for David and Sarah Russell to split a home site from a parcel of ag land. Krotz seconded the motion. With a roll call vote all voted aye.
Lane visited with the board about the reappraisal review and hiring staff to complete it. Lane would like a county vehicle to use to complete the review. She has done some figuring and if we pay an employee to use their personal vehicle it would be expensive and feels that the county vehicle would be a better solution. The board was open to the idea and asked her to look into it further.
