The meeting was called to order by Mayor Chris Heiser at 6:00 p.m. as per the Municipal Code of the City of Rushville, Sheridan County, NE. Notice of the meeting was given by publication in the Sheridan County Journal Star on July 20, 2016 as required by law and delivered to the Council in person. Present: Snyder, Jansen, Lovell. Willnerd arrived at 6:49 p.m.
The following motions were duly made, seconded and passed.
1. To approve, accept and ratify the following items listed under the consent agenda: Council minutes of the June meeting and the June Treasurers Report.
2. Approved Resolution #2016-02. A resolution to regulate traffic upon the streets, sidewalks, and public places within the incorporated limits of the City.
3. Approved car show in City Park for Fun Days.
4. Approved $1.00 per hour raise for City Clerk

No Comments on non-agenda items were made by community members attending the meeting.
Dela DeSersa was present to inform the Council of repairs needed for the Library building to stop moisture damage. Council requested Desersa get other estimates and report back to the Council. Mayor Heiser said the east basement wall was the number one priority. No action taken at this time.
Swimming Pool Committee was present to discuss moving forward with the swimming pool feasibility study. The study costs $1,900.00. The committee encouraged the Council to read the technical review as it indicates the projected cost to refurbish the current pool or build a new one. Heiser said he will contact Burback Aquatics about a break down of the feasibility study along with the technical review for the August meeting. No action was taken.
City Attorney requested the one-way signs in the alley of Security First Bank be posted as soon as possible. The City Clerk will remind Kirk Beguin to install the signs as soon as possible.
The City Boards will meet as follows: Ambulance Board August 09, 2016; Park Board August 22, 2016; Cemetery Board August 23, 2016; Library Board August 23, 2016.
