The meeting was called to order by Mayor Chris Heiser at 6:00 p.m. as per the Municipal Code of the City of Rushville, Sheridan County, NE. Notice of the meeting was given by publication in the Sheridan County Journal Star on September 21, 2016 as required by law and delivered to the Council in person. Present: Snyder, Jansen, Willnerd. The following motions were duly made, seconded and passed.
1. To approve, accept and ratify the following items listed under the consent agenda: Council minutes of the August meeting and the August Treasurer’s Report.
2. Approved propane bid from Beguin Propane for $.95 per gallon.
3. Approved appointment of Sandra Loosvelt to the Cemetery Board.
4. Approved 3% raise for all permanent City employees.
4. Approved all of the following bills for the City of Rushville and that warrants be drawn for same:

In none agenda items Cheryl Hemingway asked when the corner of the ball was going to be cleaned up. She was advised that it would be done as soon as time allowed.
Student Liaison was tabled until next month. Mayor Heiser advised the Council Sherry Retzlaff informed him that there is some student interest and they may come to the next Council meeting.
The City Boards will meet as follows: Ambulance Board October 11, 2016; Park Board October 17, 2016;Cemetery Board October 18, 2016; Library Board October 17, 2016.
