The Nebraska Board of Pardons will hold a public meeting in Room 1510, State Capitol, Lincoln, Nebraska on Thursday, December 1, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. to consider and/or take action on applications for clemency. The following case from Sheridan County will be heard:
FOR COMMUTATION OF SENTENCE:
Byron K. Red Kettle, # 69757, for commutation of the sentences he is presently serving wherein he was convicted in Sheridan County and sentenced on May 15, 1990 to a term of 15 to 25 years at the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services for the offense of First Degree Sexual Assault; to a term of one to three years at the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services for the offense of Operate Motor Vehicle to Avoid Arrest; and to a term of one to three years at the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services for the offense of Receiving Stolen Property. Currently serving these sentences at the Tecumseh State Correctional Institution under number 69757.
