Board of Equalization Minutes January 5, 2017

The Sheridan County Board of Equalization met in regular session at 10 A.M. in the Commissioners Office, Courthouse. All members present. Andersen stated that the meeting would be conducted in accordance with the provisions of the Nebraska Open Meeting Act a copy of which is available on the guest desk. Krotz made a motion to accept the agenda. Paul seconded the motion. With a roll call vote all voted aye. Krotz made a motion to approve the minutes of 12-12-2016. Andersen seconded the motion. With a roll call vote Andersen and Krotz aye, Paul abstained. 

Tina Skinner from the Assessor’s Office presented the board with several correction sheets. 

Krotz made a motion to remove Parcel ID#810167796 for William & Renee Wachob personal property as it is located in Cherry County not Sheridan. Paul seconded the motion. With a roll call vote all voted aye.

Paul made a motion to correct Parcel ID #810076039, 810073528, 810073463, 810077817 and 810075938 for David & Mary Hansen due to clerical error. Krotz seconded the motion. With a roll call vote all voted aye.

Krotz made a motion to correct Parcel ID#810168012 and 810168013 for First Financial Corporate Leasing due to exemption under Property Tax Relief Act. Paul seconded the motion. With a roll call vote all voted aye. 

Paul made a motion to correct Parcel #810005379 for Curtis & Bonnie Hoyt as the mobile home belongs to Hands of Faith. Krotz seconded the motion. With a roll call vote all voted aye. 

Paul made a motion to correct Parcel #810014435 and 810014408 for Thomas & Judy Krotz and C & B Krotz Farm & Ranch LLC due to clerical error. Krotz seconded the motion. With a roll call vote all voted aye.

Paul made a motion to correct parcel #810164908 for the State of Nebraska Dept of Roads and parcel #810267652 for Hands of Faith Ministries as they both should be tax exempt. Krotz seconded the motion. With a roll call vote all voted aye.
