The meeting was called to order by Mayor Chris Heiser at 6:00 p.m. as per the Municipal Code of the City of Rushville, Sheridan County, NE. Notice of the meeting was given by publication in the Sheridan County Journal Star on February 22, 2017 as required by law and delivered to the Council in person. Present: Lovell, Jansen, Snyder. Absent: Willnerd.
The following motions were duly made, seconded and passed.
1. To approve, accept and ratify the following items listed under the consent agenda: Council minutes of the January meeting and the January Treasurer’s Report.
2. Approved March Gambling Awareness Month.
3. Approved Sheridan County Public Transportation of $264.00 beginning July 2017 for one year.
4. Approved Liquor License for Carmen Ruiz DBA The 20 Bar
5. Approved RLW Solution computer technical support contract of $60.00 per month for one year.

Under public comments Doug Johnson from NPPD clarified that as street lights go out around town they will will be replaced with LED lights. Diana Robbins asked if Gordon City Manager Jacob Sheridan contacted Rushville about the County-wide housing study with PADD. Mayor Heiser advised he has been communicating with the Gordon City Manager about this and noted more information would be presented to the Council at a later date.
The feasibility study from Burbach Aquatics for the swimming pool was tabled at this time.
The City Boards will meet as follows: Ambulance Board March 14, 2017, Golf Board March 10, 2017, Park Board March 20, 2017, Cemetery Board March 20, 2017.
