Public Notice is hereby given that at a meeting of the Mayor and City Council of the City of Rushville, Nebraska, held at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, April 24, 2017, in the City Council Chambers of the City Hall Building located at 208 Conrad Street, Rushville, Nebraska, there was passed and adopted Ordinance No. 17-775 entitled:
An Ordinance of the City of Rushville, Nebraska (the “City”) authorizing the issuance and sale by the City of its general obligation water refunding bonds, series 2017 (the “Bonds”) in an aggregate principal amount not to exceed six hundred fifty thousand dollars ($650,000) for the purpose of refunding, redeeming and prepaying certain outstanding debt of the City; prescribing the form of said bonds; authorizing each of the Mayor of the City Clerk to determine the principal amount, the maturities, the interest rates, the redemption provisions and other terms relating to the bonds; providing for the payment of the principal of, premium, if any, and interest on the bonds by levying a tax on all of the taxable property within the City; entering into a contract on behalf of the City with the purchaser of said bonds; designating the bonds as qualified tax-exempt obligations; adopting certain post issuance tax compliance procedures with respect to the bonds; authorizing certain actions and documents; prescribing other matters relating thereto; and providing for the publication of the ordinance in pamphlet form.
Said Ordinance has been published in pamphlet form, and copies of said Ordinance as published in pamphlet form are available for inspection and distribution at the Office of the City Clerk at the City Office.
