The Sheridan County Board of Commissioners met in regular session at 9:30 A.M. In the Commissioners Office, Courthouse. All members present. Andersen stated that the meeting would be conducted in accordance with the provisions of the Nebraska Open Meeting Act a copy of which is available on the guest desk. Andersen made a motion to accept the agenda. Krotz seconded it. All voted aye. Andersen made a motion to approve the minutes of 8-14-2017. Krotz seconded it. With a roll call vote all voted aye.
Road Superintendent Tom Kuester advised the Board that he will be submitting the Annual Certificate of our Local Public Agency Highway and Bridge Buyback Program fund balance to the State.
Kuester advised the Board that his crew was still working on Mission Ranch Road and should be done sometime next week.
Kuester advised the Board of the fatal traffic accident on 325 Trail east of Hwy 87 on August 17, 2017.
From 10:00 A.M. to 11 :35 A.M. the Board met with those employees under control of the County Board to be reviewed and evaluated.
Krotz made a motion for the approval to sign Resolution 2017-10 setting Tax Allocations for Miscellaneous Districts. Andersen seconded it. With a roll call vote all voted aye.
The Board voted to decline the invitation from the Census Bureau to participate in an address-update project.
Building and Grounds Superintendent, Dwaine Sones presented the Board with an estimate from Glass Wizard reference repairs to the attic windows.
The rest of the day was spent working on the proposed budget.
