(Winslow, Neb.)- The driver of a pickup was arrested for Driving Under Suspension (DUS) after his pickup became lodged in the garage of a home just off Highway 77 in Winslow.
Just after 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 6, Nebraska State Patrol troopers responded to reports that a pickup truck had struck the garage of a house at 101 Highway 77 in Winslow. Upon arrival, troopers observed a 1994 Chevy pickup sticking halfway out of a garage attached to the home.
Upon further investigation, it was determined the driver of the pickup, Blake Bunz, 26, Hooper, was southbound on Highway 77 making a right hand turn, when his pickup door flew open. Bunz, tried to grab the door, and fell out of the pickup. The pickup continued on and struck the side of the garage. Bunz, who had tried to catch his runaway vehicle, then climbed in the driver’s seat and attempted to back it out of the garage but could not.
