LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) - The Nebraska Department of Motor Vehicles is now offering text and email notifications to let drivers know when it’s time for them to renew their vehicle registrations.
The department says it has added the new eNotice application to online renewal services that were already in place.
Nebraska DMV Director Rhonda Lahm says the service is designed to be faster and more convenient for drivers.
Participants in the eNotice system can change or delete their email or phone information. They also have the option to return to paper service.
