Braxton Tate Fuller, the son of Courtney and Tosha (Koss) Fuller, was born on July 1, 1995, in Gordon, Neb. He passed away following an automobile accident on Oct. 7, 2017, at the age of 22.
Braxton attended grade school in Red Cloud, Neb., Lincoln, Neb. and Gillette, Wyo. The Fuller family moved to Casper, Wyo., in 2008 where he attended Centennial Junior High and Kelly Walsh High School. Braxton played the trombone in jazz band, marching band and concert band. He also found he liked the technical side of theatre production. Following Graduation in 2013, Braxton went to boot camp for the Army Reserves and was an active member of the 651st Quartermaster Company in Evansville, Wyo., as an E4 Culinary Specialist. When he returned home from boot camp he attended the technical theatre program at Casper College. Most recently Braxton had moved to Rushville, Nebraska where he was helping his dad and mom run The Twisted Turtle Pub.
Braxton is survived by his parents Courtney and Tosha, his twin brother Barret, sister Lachlyn, brother Jamison, grandparents Sandra (Knehans) and Terry Snyder, Kristi (Retzlaff) and Keith Paul, Donald (D.R.) Koss, great grandparents Charlotte Knehans and Shirley Beattie and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Braxton’s story has had a rather tragic ending, much like many of the books he was always reading! But, through tragedy shines light! Therefore, in lieu of flowers or gifts the family requests you donate to the Rushville Library or your local library in his name.
A memorial service for Braxton Tate Fuller will be held Saturday, October 21st at 2 p.m. at the Rushville City Park.
