The Lady Mustangs faced the  Bayard Tigers on Saturday after a very tough loss on Friday to a very good Valentine team.

The Lady Mustangs started the game a little sluggish and ended the first quarter ahead 11-10.  The Mustangs woke up in the second quarter, especially Brandi Roth, who hit three 3-pointers.  The Mustangs scored 20 points in the quarter and went to the half ahead 31-16.

The Mustangs picked up where they left off in the third quarter.  The press and run offense was clicking as they outscored the Tigers 17-6 and the quarter ended 48-22.  The fourth quarter saw the younger Mustangs on the floor.  They ended the fourth quarter with eleven points and the game ended with the Mustangs winning 59-31.

Brandi Roth led all scorers with 20 points, Morgan Sones, Brittany Hoagland and Dani Campbell each had 6 points, Hali Sahr and Sara Marlatt added 5 points, Ashton Sasse had 3, Denie Jacobsen, Kylee Giles, Cali Mulcahy, and Cirsten Hinn each scored 2.

The Lady Mustangs will be in action on Friday when they travel to Hay Springs to battle the Hawks.
