The Jr. Mustangs hosted their first track meet of the season last Friday with both the boys and girls finishing in third, the boys with 99 points and the girls with 91.
Ashton Sasse finished 4th in the girls 100 meter dash with a time of 14.44 seconds, followed by Mersades Thies in 6th with a time of 14.53.
Shane Child took 2nd in the boys 100 meter dash with a time of 12.59 seconds.
Josie Perez finished 6th in the girls 200 in a time of 30.47 seconds.
Shane Child won the boys 200 in 25.56 seconds.
Robin Ferguson took 4th in the girls 400 with a time of 1:11.84, followed by Becca Wellnitz in 6th with 1:20.22.
In the boys 400, Colton Wolkins won with a time of 59.0 seconds.
Rhett Conroy finished 2nd in the boys 85 meter hurdles in 15.85 seconds. He also finished 2nd in the 200 hurdles with a time of 31.97 seconds.
Devin Beaver placed 2nd in the girls 800 with a time of 2:53, followed by Becca Wellnitz in 4th with 3:33.
Colton Wolkins won the boys 800 in a time of 3:14.
Devin Beaver took 2nd in the girls 1200 in a time of 4:43.
Juan Sanchez finished 6th in the boys 1200 with a time of 5:25.
The girls 4x100 relay team took first with a time of 57.03 seconds. The 4x400 team finished 2nd with a time of 4:51.
The boys 4x400 team finished second with a time of 4:18.
Kendrick Vincent took 5th in the boys shot put with a distance of 32’ 3”. Vincent also took 6th in the discus with a throw of 80’ 2”.
Caelynn Douville finished 6th in the girls discus with a throw of 51’ 3”.
Robin Ferguson won the girls long jump with a jump of 14’ 9”, followed by Ashton Sasse in 4th with 13’ 3.5”, and Carlee Hinn in 5th with 12’ 11”.
Shane Child won the boys long jump with a distance of 16’ 10.5”, followed by Anthony Frey with 14’ 8.5”.
Becca Wellnitz took 2nd in the girls triple jump with a distance of 27’, followed by Sadie Thies with 26’ 7”.
Jenneya Hill took 6th in the girls high jump with a height of 3’ 6”.
