David Hinman is double winner at Hyannis High School Rodeo

David Hinman was the all-around cowboy at the Hyannis High School rodeo this past weekend. He won the tie down roping with a time of 12.94 seconds. He also won the steer wrestling with a time of 4.36 seconds. He put together two really nice runs.

Cati Stanko and Charmayne Strong both placed in the goat tying. Cati was third with a time of 8.56 seconds. Charmayne was eighth with a time of 9.85 seconds. The event winner was Sabrina Walker of Keensburg, Colorado with a time of 8.40 seconds.

Charmayne was third in the breakaway calf roping with a time of 3.52 seconds. The event was won by Brandy Brown of North Platte with a time of 2.96 seconds. Cati won the pole bending with a time of 21.46 seconds.

On Sunday they all competed at Arthur. Cati and Charmayne both placed in the goat tying again. Cati was second wtih a time of 8.37 seconds. Charmayne was sixth with a time of 9.62 seconds. The event was won by Kelsey Knust of Verdigree with a quick time of 7.75 seconds. Cati won the pole bending with a time of 21.36 seconds.

Cati placed sixth in the breakaway calf roping with a time of 3.35 seconds. The event was won by Samantha VonHeeder of Ainsworth with a quick time of 2.16 seconds. Cati also placed ninth in the barrel race with a time of 18.926 seconds. The event was won by Shawnee Stone-Swedburg of Hershey with a time of 18.311.

This next weekend the team will be competeing in two rodeos at Burwell. Good luck David, Cati and Charmayne.
