Kudrna on winning All-Star Team

Kelsey Kudrna participated in the 28th West Nebraska All-Star volleyball game held at WNCC in Scottsbluff last weekend, and was a member of the West squad that won all five sets of the game.

The West dominated the game winning by scores of 25-21, 25-16, 25-21, 26-24, and 15-11. In the West Nebraska All-Star game the teams play all five sets whether it is needed or not to win the game.

Kudrna contributed 4 kills, 2.5 blocks, 10 points and four digs. The West squad was coached by Gering’s Craig Schadwinkel and Sioux County’s Lacy Wurdeman. Gering setter and the coaches daughter Kayleigh Schadwindel was named the West’s MVP, while Andrea Werth of Eustis-Farnam was named the MVP for the East. The West volleyball squad has dominated the series over the past seven years winning every year since 2006.
