Larry Waldron was present to see if the Council had decided what they would sell the lot for on North Main Street. The Council said they would sell the vacant lot for $1,000.00. Mr. Waldron felt that was too much to pay for the vacant lot. He asked the Council if he cleaned up the lot and left the fence up if he could use it for parking. The Council agreed to this. No other action was taken.
Jean Parker was not present at the Council meeting, but talked to the Mayor and felt that the dogs in the pound were not being taking care of as they should be. She requested that they be able to get inside when it is cold out and that there be blankets for them to lay on to insulate from the cold. The City will try to find some towels and blankets and inform the dog catcher of this.
Mayor Heiser talked with John Branca about the land the City wanted to purchase for the RV Dumping Station. Mr. Branca was not interested in selling the land to the City for the price they wanted to pay.
Mayor Heiser discussed the Ball Park project. The City will need to take down the fence and dug outs and the grandstand building. The City will need to make a resolution stating that the name of the ball park will remain Modisett Ball Park.
