The meeting was called to order by Mayor Chris Heiser at 6:00 p.m. as per the Municipal Code of the City of Rushville, Sheridan County, NE. Notice of the meeting was given by publication in the Sheridan County Journal Star on April 22, 2015 as required by law and delivered to the Council in person. Present: Snyder, Jansen, Willnerd. Absent: Lovell.
The following motions were duly made, seconded and passed.
1. To approve, accept and ratify the following items listed under the consent agenda: Council minutes of the March meeting and the March Treasurers Report.
2. Approved appointment of Al Trucano to Assisted Living Board.
3. Approved Interlocal Animal Impounding Agreement with Hay Springs with amendments.
4. Approved May Council Meeting date for May 18, 2015.

The Council discussed the applications for Pool Manager. Barb Stava has withdrawn her application for Manager. Kate Orr has applied for Manager. The Park Board will do the hiring of the Manager. The Council suggested the pool be open seven days a week and after school starts be open on week ends until after Labor Day. Councilman Steve Willnerd will attend the next Park Board meeting. No other action taken at this time.
The Council toured the swimming pool area. The beams in the pool area are getting rusty and the insulation is getting bad, and the pipes that are under the pool are getting rusty. The Mayor will contact Burback Aquatics, who is working on the swimming pool in Chadron, and see if they would come and evaluate options for the pool. No other action taken at this time.
The City Boards will meet as follows: Park Board May 4, 2015; Ambulance Board May 12, 2015; Cemetery Board May 19, 2015; Library Board May 19, 2015.
