The meeting was called to order by Council President Steve Willnerd at 6:00 p.m. as per the Municipal Code of the City of Rushville, Sheridan County, NE. Notice of the meeting was given by publication in the Sheridan County Journal Star on April 20, 2016 as required by law and delivered to the Council in person. Present: Snyder, Jansen, Lovell, Willnerd. Absent Mayor Heiser.
The following motions were duly made, seconded and passed.
1. To approve, accept and ratify the following items listed under the consent agenda: Council minutes of the March meeting and the March Treasurers Report.
2. Approved Lisa Ruiz as Manager of Sandridge Golf Course Clubhouse.
3. Approved keeping Ordinance for Shoveling Sidewalks and requesting enforcement by the Sheriff Office.
4. Approved moving the May City Council Meeting to May 23, 2016
5. Approved Mayor Heiser and Kirk Beguin Street Superintendent to hire summer and full time help as deemed necessary.
6. Approved all of the following bills for the City of Rushville and that warrants be drawn for same:

Don Maberry requested the Council put up signs on Highway 20 for crosswalks at the Security First Bank and Sheridan County Courthouse. The City Attorney will send a letter to Bob Mills Department of Roads to request signs for both crosswalks, about a block from each crosswalk. No other action taken at this time.
The City Boards will meet as follows: Ambulance Board May 10, 2016; Golf Board May 11, 2016; Park Board May 16, 2016; Cemetery Board May 17, 2016.
