TO:  All Occupants of, and all persons have any interest in, 221 North Ash St. Gordon, NE 69343

WHEREAS, a house located at 221 North Ash Street, Gordon, Nebraska was previously declared a public nuisance and dangerous building by the City of Gordon, Nebraska on the 13th day of August, 2018; 

WHEREAS, notice of the city’s declaration of 221 North Ash as a dangerous building, and Notice of Dangerous Building and Order of Abatement of such nuisance was served upon all owners and occupants thereof by personal service on August 23, August 24, and September 4, 2018 and/or by publication on September 5, 2018;

WHEREAS, more 30 days have passed since service of such Notice was perfected and all described nuisances have not been abated, nor has an owner or occupant filed written request for hearing to contest the city’s notice and order of abatement within five (5) days of receiving service of such notice; 

NOW THEREFORE, all owners and occupants are hereby given notice that the City of Gordon, Nebraska shall hereafter enter the premises of 221 North Ash Street, Gordon, Nebraska, for the purpose of abating all nuisances and to demolish said dangerous building; 

FURTHER, all owners, occupants or other persons interested in 221 North Ash Street, Gordon, Nebraska are given fifteen days from the date of this letter to vacate the premises of 221 North Ash Street, and to remove all personal belongings from such building, and that on or after October 20, 2018, the City of Gordon, Nebraska shall enter the premises of 221 North Ash Street, Gordon, Nebraska to abate all nuisances and demolish said building.
