City of Rushville City Council Meeting April 27, 2020

The meeting was called to order by Mayor Chris Heiser at 6:00 p.m. as per the Municipal Code of the City of Rushville, Sheridan County, NE.  Notice of the meeting was given by publication in the Sheridan County Journal Star on April 22, 2020 as required by law and delivered to the Council in person. Present:  Jansen, Lovell, Willnerd & Snyder via Zoom.  Absent:  None 

The following motions were duly made, seconded and passed.

1.   To approve, accept and ratify the following items listed under the consent agenda. Approved March 2020 Council minutes & Treasurer’s Report. 

2.  Approved all of the bills against the City of Rushville and that warrants be drawn for same.

There were no public comments on non-agenda items.  

Mayor Heiser shared with the Council that the Governor wants everyone to go to testnebraska.com and fill out the form and send back.  Governor stated that filling out this form may get things open faster.  May 4, 2020 Salons, Restaurants but not bars may open with restrictions.  There will be testing done at Open Range Beef in Gordon on April 30, 2020.

Mayor Heiser also informed the Council that the new pumper truck will be here the end of this week or next week.

The Council decided that the date for the May 2020 meeting will be May 26, 2020.
