Chadron Community Hospital Corporation d/b/a Chadron Community Hospital and Health Services is accepting sealed purchase offers for the purchase of the real estate with the address of 821 Morehead Street, Chadron, Nebraska 69337-2546 and all improvements situated thereon, such real estate being legally described as:
A tract of land located within the City of Chadron, Dawes County, Nebraska, described as follows: Beginning at a point where the South line of Eighth Street intersects the West line of Morehead Street, thence southerly along the West line of Morehead Street, a distance of 330 feet, thence westerly and parallel to the South line of Eighth Street a distance of 160 feet, thence northwesterly a distance of 113.1 feet, thence northerly and parallel to the West line of Morehead Street a distance of 250 feet, thence easterly along the South line of Eighth Street a distance of 240 feet to the point of beginning. The above tract of land includes Lots 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12, and parts of Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, Block 113, Pioneer Town Site Company’s Sixth Addition to the original town (now City) of Chadron, Dawes County, Nebraska, and the vacated alley located in Block 113 and a portion of vacated Ninth Street.

All sealed bids are due by Monday, October 26, 2020 in the office of the Chief Executive Officer of the Chadron Community Hospital Corporation no later than 5:00 p.m. MDT. All sealed bids will be marked with the date and time when they are received. FAXED, ORAL, OR PHONED BIDS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope and marked with the words “Sealed Bid.”
All bids MUST be on BID FORMS prepared by the Chadron Community Hospital Corporation available at the office of the Chief Executive Officer at 825 Centennial Drive, Chadron, Nebraska 69337-9400.
The real estate and all improvements situated thereon will be sold “as-is” and will be conveyed by special warranty deed, subject to easements, covenants, and restrictions of record. The Chadron Community Hospital Corporation Board of Trustees reserves the right to (1) modify the bid terms at its own discretion; (2) accept any bid regardless of the amount or terms of the bid; (3) reject all bids; or (4) hold over the bid award for further consideration. The decision of the Board of Trustees will be final.
Bidders should make their own independent investigation of the available real estate and the improvements situated thereon.
This Invitation for Sealed Bids is to solicit sealed purchase offers only and is not an offer to sell the real estate or improvements situated thereon. Nothing in this Invitation for Sealed Bids shall be deemed to require Chadron Community Hospital Corporation d/b/a Chadron Community Hospital and
Health Services to negotiate for a purchase agreement with any bidder.
