BOARD OF EDUCATION DISTRICT 81-0010 NOVEMBER 19, 2020 EMERGENCY MEETING

PURPOSE : This emergency meeting was held in response to the local health department’s determination that the Gordon-Rushville attendance area needed to be elevated into the “red” zone on the COVID-19 Risk Dial, and the District needs to determine if it will shift all learning to a remote format or continue the education of students in-person.

The meeting was called to order at 5:32 p.m. by Ziller. This meeting will follow the guidelines of the Nebraska Open Meetings Act.

ACTION ITEM

UPDATE THE DISTRICT’S BACK TO SCHOOL PLAN

It was moved by Willnerd seconded by Johnson that the Board of Education should and does hereby approve the update of the District’s Back to School Plan to state that in-person instruction will continue at all buildings while in the red zone on the COVID-19 Risk Dial.
