City of Rushville City Council Meeting December 28, 2020

The meeting was called to order by Mayor Heiser at 6:00 p.m. as per the Municipal Code of the City of Rushville, Sheridan County, NE.  Notice of the meeting was given by publication in the Sheridan County Journal Star on December 23, 2020 as required by law and delivered to the Council in person. Present:  Jansen, Lovell by phone, Snyder, Willnerd Gilchrist 

The following motions were duly made, seconded and passed.

Under public comments on non-agenda items Chris House informed the Council that the Chamber moved to approve the City of Rushville signs.  The Chamber has raised about $20,000.00 for the signs and still needs to raise another $20,000.00 to $25,000.00.

City Attorney Aaron Conn swore in new Council member Curtis Gilchrist.  Councilman Brian Synder was dismissed and thanked for his service.

Bids for the City Park Restrooms were discussed.  The Park Board has not 

approved the bids yet.  Steve Willnerd would like to add metal grate doors for the outside. The matter was tabled at this time.
