COMMISSIONERS MINUTES DECEMBER 7, 2021
The Sheridan County Commissioners met in regular session and by zoom at 9:15 A.M. on December 7, 2021. Zoom ID#9376535799 Passcode 625274. Krotz and Messersmith present. Paul was present by zoom.
Paul stated that the meeting would be conducted in accordance with the provisions of the Nebraska Open Meeting Act. This meeting was posted on the official website and published in the Sheridan County Journal Star on December 1, 2021. Messersmith made a motion to accept the agenda. Krotz seconded the motion. All voted aye. Krotz made a motion to approve the minutes of 11-23-2021. Messersmith seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Road Superintendent Richard Cross reported that his department is working on tree trimming. They plan to haul more material out of the Adams pit once it warms up.
Messersmith made a motion to adopt Resolution #2021-24 setting the Roadside Mowing Hearing for December 28, 2021 at 10 A.M. in the Commissioners Office. Krotz seconded the motion. With a roll call vote all voted aye.
Sheriff Jeff Brewer reported that he is seeking bids for one, possibly two, new patrol vehicles.
At 10 A.M. Krotz made a motion to go into executive session with County Attorney Aaron Conn to discuss litigation. Messersmith seconded the motion. With a roll call vote all voted aye.
At 10:10 A.M. Krotz made a motion to come out of executive session. Messersmith seconded the motion. No action taken. With a roll call vote all voted aye.
