Robert Burdette Frey

Robert Burdette Frey, 85, of Lincoln, passed away on July 31, 2016 in Omaha. Robert was born on June 6, 1931, in Gordon to Walter J. and Esther E. Kuhler Frey. He was a Korean War Air Force veteran. Former financial consultant and credit manager at Voss Electric and retired from Union Bank as a senior vice president and trust officer. His personal faith in Christ was central to him as a member of Lincoln Berean Church. Previously he served as treasurer on boards of Central Alliance Church and Indian Hills Community Church.

Robert is survived by his wife Sharon of Lincoln; children (spouses) Ron (Vicki) Frey of Omaha, Darrin (Amy) Frey of Cedarville, Ohio, and Marci (Arnie) Preheim of Franklin, Tenn.; grandchildren Erik Frey, Michaela Frey, Brock Preheim, Jacob Frey, Paige Preheim, and Nathan Frey. Also surviving is brother Darrell Frey of Denver and sister Jane (Michael) Pierce of Lincoln, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Norman K. Frey.
