William Paul Prante, 48, of Rushville, died Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2017, at his place of residence.
He was born Sept. 1, 1969, in Fort Collins, Colo., to Terry and Sandra Prante. As a young man he grew up in Rushville, NE, and graduated high school and was an accomplished wrestler. He also liked to race cars in his younger years, before attending and graduating from Wyo-Tech, with a degree in mechanics.
On May of 1996 he married Kim Lucas. Together they raised 5 kids in Winnsboro, TX until they moved to Grant, Nebraska the year of 2007. He lived in Grant to watch his two remaining sons, living there, graduate high school, then he moved to Rushville, NE, to live with some of his old high school buddies.
He was always a rebel mechanic at heart, a rock’n roll hippie. He liked tattoos and was an eccentric man, but was also one who loved to hunt and fish and be out in nature itself.
Survivors include his five children, Michael Rye, Texas, Ashley Roberts, Texas, Johnathon Prante, Nebraska, Joseph Rye, Texas, and Dakota Prante, Nebraska, also his two grandchildren. His parents Terry and Sandy Prante, his grandmother Billie Messimer and numerous Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.

Memorial services were held at Morse Memorial Methodist Church in Rushville, Neb., at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 28, 2017.
