Robert (Bob) Willard Barth passed away at the age of 59 on May 8, 2021.
He was a brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. He will be missed greatly and will be thought of often.
Bob had an incredible sense of humor and one of the quickest wits ever. If you were around Bob, you would soon find yourself laughing at one of his off-the-cuff jokes.
Bob’s passion was his dogs. He had two Weimaraner pups, Zak and Ozzie, who were his best friends. He took great joy in training them to hunt and being part of the Valley of the Sun Weimaraner Club AKC. He was so proud of them every time they won a ribbon! Bob’s other passion was golf. He was out on the golf course every chance he could with his golfing buddies.
Bob worked for KPS Global for over 40 years. There he met people who became longtime friends. Bob was born in Rushville, NE and lived in the Phoenix and Goodyear areas for over 50 years. He graduated from West Phoenix High School.
He is preceded in death by his father, Gene Barth, mother, Mary Barth, and brother, Daniel Barth.
He is survived by his siblings, Kathy Barth (Ken), Christine (Barth) Gold and Doug Barth (Tonia), nephews and niece, numerous cousins and good friends. Bob leaves a void and ache in our hearts, and we will miss him.
There will be a joint graveside service for Bob and his brother-in-law, Jim Gold, on October 18th at 1:00 at the Rushville Fairview Cemetery. All are welcome.
