Jennifer Parks was born September 1, 1983 to Paul and Ronda Parks in Rushville, NE. She passed away in Rapid City, SD on February 9, 2023 after a long battle with cancer.
Jen grew up in Rapid City. She loved reading, writing, tigers, and high heeled shoes. She had several pets over the years with her latest loves being Milo and Remi. She gave birth to her daughter, Danielle Rae in August 2002. Danielle was her pride and joy, and the biggest reason she fought so hard. Jen was diagnosed stage 2 breast cancer on November 18, 2010 and stage 4 metastatic on August 21, 2014. She moved to Denver, CO for several years for treatment but eventually moved back to Rapid City where cancer won the fight.
Jen is survived by her daughter, Danielle Brownlee; parents, Ronda and Paul Parks; sister, Bobbi (Jason) Kjerstad; nephews, Deaken Knappen, and Kaden Chriss; grandmother, JoAnn Drummond as well as many aunts, uncles, Cousins, and friends.
A memorial service was held Sunday, February 12, 2023, at West River Funeral Directors in Rapid City.
