Tianna Rose, 32, born in Ogallala, Nebraska November 7, 1990 passed away at home in Hay Springs April 21, 2023.
Survived by Mom, Kathy (Ken) Bate, Sisters; Tes Mann, Sierra Rose, Grandmothers; Beverly Wilson and Mary Lou Anderson, Niece Shalee (Bryant) Woodward and Nephew Dillon (Tayla) Howton and special friend Jess Straw.
Tianna lived with her family in Arthur, Nebraska for three years until moving to Rushville in 1994 where she graduated in the consolidated Gordon/Rushville school. Everyone remembers her riding her horse after school and on weekends. During High School she participated in 4-H for several years with her dog, cat and goats and won many ribbons. She spent a year in Ft Morgan with family and went on many adventures. Returning to Rushville, Tianna was accepted at the Office of Human Development in Chadron in 2015 and traveled to Chadron with the Hay Springs Group Home. She later became a part of the Hay Springs Group Home and enjoyed many fun outings. She decided that she needed to be called “Tia” and that name stuck. Tia was very active in Special Olympics and participated in track, swimming, flag football, basketball, weight lifting and polar plunge. Tia worked part time at Bird Dog Hospitality for several years and spent some of that wage on her favorite “Hey Dude” shoes.
Tia was preceeded in death by Father, Bruce Rose, Grandparents; Cecil and Elsie Rose, Dick Wilson, Roy Anderson, Cousin Brittany Mueller, Uncle Wes Wilson and Brother-in-law Ray Mann.
Memorial will be made in her name to the Chadron Special Olympics that held such a joy in her life.
Celebration of Life will be May 9th, 11:00am at Office of Human Development building (5789 W Hwy 20) Chadron so the many people involved in her life may all attend.
