Earl Simmons was born March 3, 1938, on the family farm in rural Bennett County. He passed from this world December 31, 2022, at the age of 84. He had a wonderful and generous heart and remained humble throughout his days. He showed his strength through his quiet presence. He will always be loved and will be missed greatly by his family and friends. He will always remain in our hearts.
The family would like to take this time to thank everyone who loved and cared for our Dad. Your kindness and prayers will never be forgotten.
A memorial service will be held June 2, 2023, at 10 a.m. at the new American Legion in Martin, S.D. Military graveside rites and burial will follow the service at the Martin Community Cemetery. A time for lunch and sharing of memories of our beloved Dad will be held following the burial at the Legion. In lieu of flowers Dad would greatly appreciate any memorials or donations directed to C.H.A.R.T. in Bennett County and donations may be sent to Bennett County Funeral Service PO Box 65, Martin, S.D. 57551.
