Rachel E. Vinton, 23, passed away January 7, 2012, at her home.
Rachel was born September 26, 1988 in Denver, Colorado the daughter of Michael and Linda (Wunschel) Vinton. She started her life living in the LaGrange/Hawk Springs Wyoming area until age five when her family moved to Nebraska where they lived in the Gordon, Nebraska area. They moved back to Wyoming in 2006 and lived in the Hawk Springs area. She graduated high school and started working for the Frontier School of the Bible. After a year and a half she move to Alliance, Nebraska where she worked at a nursing home for a year before moving back to Hawk Springs and starting work at the Banner Medical Clinic where she worked until October 2011 when ill health forced her to quit.
Rachel enjoyed stamping, and was an avid shopper.
Rachel is survived by her parents Mike and Linda Vinton of Hawk Springs, Wyoming; two sisters Becca Vinton of Hawk Springs and Traci Tremain and her husband Cody of LaGrange, Wyoming; a brother Jim Vinton of Austin, Minnesota; a niece Kathleen Tremain of LaGrange; and her maternal grandparents Don and Wilma Witte of Bentonville, Arkansas; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents.
Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, January 12, 2012 at the Frontier School of the Bible Chapel with Pastor Tom Harves officiating. Cremation has already taken place. Memorials may be given to either Childrens Hospital in Denver, Colorado or the LaGrange Bible Church.
