Eugene “Tubb” Wesley Fish, age 79, passed away on September 6, 2018, in Scottsbluff, Neb.

Eugene “Tubb” Fish was born on May 27, 1939, and spent his youth around the Gordon, Neb. area. As Tubb entered high school, he was engaged with sports, rodeo and working alongside his Uncle Nelson Fish on the Star ranch. While on the ranches he learned how to train and care for horses and horse teams. He graduated from high school in Gordon, Neb. He explored going to the University


Duane Lockmon

Duane Lockmon, 84 years old, of Rushville, Nebraska, passed away on September 2, 2018 at the Gordon Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services were held Thursday, September, 6th at 10:00 a.m. at the Morse Memorial Methodist Church in Rushville with Reverend Paul Smith and Reverend Al Trucano officiating.   Burial was at the Fairview Cemetery in Rushville.  Arrangements were handled by Chamberlain-Pier Funeral Home.

John Raymond Fankhauser, 95, of North Platte passed away August 27, 2018 at the Jennie M. Melham Memorial Medical Center in Broken Bow.

Joan Eileen Gottier was born on April 22nd, 1954 in Rushville, NE and she resided there for most of her life. She passed away August 16, 2018 at her home in Rushville. Orville “Doc” Hupp, 89, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at the Platte County Legacy Home in Wheatland, Wyoming with his wife by his side.

Roy Phillip Anderson was born on July 1, 1926, to Edgar P. and Dolly [Paul] Anderson at home on Brady Island, Neb. He passed away on August 11, 2018.
