Bonnie Hilliker passed away July 23, 2023, surrounded by her family at Gordon Countryside Care. Bonnie Lou Hilliker was born July 12, 1934, to Dewey and Freda (Hugen) Reed in rural Sheridan County, Nebraska. She was the 4th of 6 children. She grew up on a homestead on the edge of the sandhills.

Gary Schramm

Gary Orvel Schramm, 61, of Hay Springs passed away July 11, 2023, due to cancer, in the arms of his love, Jolene.

Gary was born Feb. 10, 1962, to Albert and Irene Schramm. He was the youngest of six children: Janet, who passed at birth, James, Karen, Steven, and Gary’s twin brother Larry, who passed at birth.

Gary worked as a mechanic his whole life. He started working at 14 with his father in the Mr. Tune-Up Shop in Corona, Calif. Gary graduated at La Sierra High School in Riverside

Jack Kimble

Jack A. Kimble, 69, passed away Sunday, July 16, 2023 at Countryside Care in Gordon, Nebraska.

He was born November 16, 1953 in Alliance to Dale and Wynona (Bissell) Kimble.

Memorial services were held on Saturday, July 22 at 10:00 a.m. at the Bible Baptist Church, 800 North Ash Street in Gordon.

Bates-Gould Funeral Home of Alliance is assisting the family with arrangements.

Kenneth George Janssen was born to George T. Janssen and Lois Ann (Voycheske) Janssen on February 14, 1953. Ken passed away on June 30, 2023, at Monument Health in Rapid City, SD after a long battle with many health issues.
