Stevin Horrocks led the way for the Hay Springs boys squad on Friday at the Morrill Invite by winning two events and finishing 4th in another.
Horrocks won the 110 meter high hurdles in 16.5 and the 300 meter low hurdles in 42.8 seconds while also finishing 4th in the 100 meter dash. Austin Weyers picked up a silver medal in the triple jump with a jump of 39’7”. Joey Johnson finished 4th in the triple jump and also finished 6th in the 800 meter run. John Rotness was the bronze medalist in the high jump with a jump of 5’10”. Jordan Houser finished the day with a 5th in the 400 meter run in 57.8 and a 6th in the 200 meter dash in 25.7 seconds. The team finished 5th out of 9 teams.
