Korby Campbell scored 9, Morgan Hurlburt, 4, Rhett Conroy, 2, and Ben Wegner, 2.
On Tuesday afternoon the Mustangs faced the Mitchell Tigers, who lost to Alliance on Monday. The Mustangs put together a solid effort for three quarters, but saw the game slip away in the fourth quarter as they fell to the Tigers 56-45. The Mustangs led by two at the end of the first quarter and held the same lead going into the half. The Mustangs built a seven point advantage in the third quarter, but Mitchell stormed back and used a 19-7 fourth quarter run to take down the Mustangs.
Ryan Schwarting scored 17 points and Jared Nelson added 14. Ben Wegner scored 6 while Rhett Conroy and Korby Campbell each scored 4. The Mustangs’ record now stands at 2-6 as they get ready to host the Bayard Tigers on January 10.
