By Scott Bidroski The Gordon-Rushville Mustang Track & Field team took off for Mitchell High School for their third track meet of the season. The competition at the meet was high, with a good mix of larger schools also attending.

A small group of young Mustang girls and boys made a trip to Spearfish, S.D. to jump into one of the biggest wrestling tournaments in the region.

By Scott Bidroski The Hay Springs Hawks continued their 2024 campaign on the track with the Bayard CD Invitational on Thursday, March 28. Senior Gage Mintken would bring home the gold in three events and a silver in one event to lead the charge for the Hawks.

By Scott Bidroski Mother Nature got the note to give the Mustang Track & Field team so much needed sunshine for their annual trip to Bayard for the Invite. A host of Mustangs set personal bests in the sunshine and warm temps, as they really ramp up their 2024 campaign.

By Scott Bidroski The Mustang Track & Field team got their first taste of competition this past week, heading to Scottsbluff for the Binfield Invitational on Friday, March 22. Temps were cool but the Mustangs still found success on the day.

By Scott Bidroski The first starting gun has fired and the Hay Springs Hawks are off and running on the track. For first year Head Coach Frankie Johnson, nine studentathletes have signed up for the 2024 season and have already been laying the groundwork for yet another outstanding chapter for the Hawks.

State Wrestling Tournament on March 16 and 17. And when the dust all settled on the festivities, two young men brought home the hardware for the top spots in their respective age and weight divisions.
